ANGKASA - Bulan Kain
Eternal cycles of the moon is captured into pure magic. Threads of raw cotton, woven by hand into the fabric. Before beeswax is heated with fire to draw each star. A wearable heirloom to pass on through generations.
WHY SHE'S SPECIAL
- So many ways to wear. Throw it over your shoulder as a shawl, tie around your waist as a sarong, style it as a dress, or hang it as a wall hanging.
- Real Batik Tulis. Each is drawn by hand. By mothers, not machines.
- Years, not wears. Made with handwoven raw cotton that gets buttery soft with age. Finished with hand-rolled stitched edges.
- Natural dye black. Colored without chemicals, your piece is dyed entirely with Indigo leaves. Achieving this black hue evenly takes many years to master. Each takes 27x dips and 20 kgs of leaves to craft, just for you.
STORY
