PAGISENJA - Weekend Shirt
Our most loved shirt. Cut from 100% handwoven raw cotton fabric that gets softer with wear. Tailored for a relaxed fit and finished with mother of pearl buttons. As timeless as it is essential, for weekends and all the days in between.
DETAILS
- A wardrobe classic. One of our original designs, it took us years to perfect the pattern. Inspired by the eastern shirting, perfected to be worn anywhere.
- Naturally breathable. Made of 2,000 raw cotton threads, handwoven to perfection. Naturally thermo-regulating and gets softer with age.
- Individually crafted. Look closer and discover the lines, crafted with the Ikat technique and inserted one at a time by our master weavers. It takes two weeks to make enough fabric for one shirt, which is then cut and sewn individually by our Ibus in Bali just for you.
- Plant dyed. Dyed in natural Indigo thirty times over four weeks to achieve the botanical black. As a herbal medicine, Indigo is a natural antiseptic and has a cooling effect on the skin.
Firaz wears Size I. He is 175 cm.
STORY
PAGISENJA helps you simplify. Inspired by the ray of light, diminishing from dusk to dawn. Loops of cotton threads are tied to resist the dye, woven at random in creation of an asymmetrical composition. The weavers manually interweave between two shuttles, creating an orchestra of threads that cannot be replicated with machines.
