Part of our black Atelier label, this piece features exquisitely detailed Angkasa motif that was hand-drawn by a master artisan who has perfected her craft for over 10,000 hours.


DETAILS
  • A new heritage. Inspired by the classic Kebaya silhouette, this coat can be worn buttoned as a top or opened as a jacket. With subtle, intentional details: Deep pockets, hand-drawn reminders and subtle wrist buttons for ease.
  • Real Batik Tulis piece. Each star drawn by mothers, not printed by machines.
  • Structured softness. Made with our signature handwoven raw cotton that gets softer with years. Double faced for extra warmth with 100% naturally dyed, pure linen linings.
  • Plant dyed. Dyed in natural Indigo thirty times over four weeks to achieve the botanical black. As a herbal medicine, Indigo is a natural antiseptic and has a cooling effect on the skin.

SINAR is a reminder to let your inner light shine. Our third ANGKASA series reinterprets the Javanese philosophy that has guided our Ibus for generations: Urip Iku Urup (We live to bring light). When we take up the courage to shine, we light a flame that together becomes bolder in brightness.
