Our B Corp Journey: Becoming Better, Not Bigger

Our B Corp Journey: Becoming Better, Not Bigger

Remember this announcement? It’s hard to believe it’s been 3 years since we became a certified B Corp! Back then, when no one knew what it was and the question I kept getting was why we only got B - not A Corp (Happens more often than you think!)

That same year, our farm-to-closet work earned us the Best for the World™ Award, putting our verified community impact in the top 5% of B Corps worldwide. Think of it like receiving an Oscar — but this one celebrates businesses that are putting people and the planet first. Putting Indonesia on the map when it comes to pioneering businesses as a force for good!

Every three years, we recertify with B Corp, and we’re proud to share that this year, we’ve raised our score from 95 to 110!

It’s proof of our continued commitment to progress; to continue finding problems and discovering better solutions. Often by looking back to the past, and re-learning from indigenous communities on what it means to live in harmony with Nature.

But here's the most important part: this journey isn’t just about us — it's about the incredible women and families in the villages we work with. Our Ibus, mothers working from home, have been at the heart of this movement, taking part in our regenerative farming projects and learning new skills through our craft schools.

Through these initiatives, we’ve seen real change — not just in the quality of the clothes we create, but in the quality of life for these women and their families.

Each SukkhaCitta piece you invest in enables this ripple effect, NAME. It helps scale up these projects, create more sustainable jobs, and bring more visibility to the women whose work often goes unrecognized.

By supporting these communities, you’re directly helping to lift families out of vulnerability, providing access to education, and giving them the opportunity to thrive.

But it doesn’t stop there. This is just the beginning. Being certified is just the start; the real work happens every day, in the villages, in the fields, and in the homes of the Ibus who make it all possible. Your support lets us do even more — from expanding regenerative farming to building more craft schools and empowering more women.

We hope that by sharing this journey, we can inspire more brands to clean up their practices and encourage the public to be more critical of the false promises of fast fashion. Because to truly make fashion a force for good, it takes all of us.

Will you join us in changing more lives? 🤍
