KUPU is a reminder to have courage & be the change we wish for.
Starting with only 3 women, our Jlamprang village initiative now has trained and provided fair employment for 25 artisans. Every day, they come together to craft KUPU by hand, first tracing it with pencil and afterwards with hot wax. Like our handwriting, each is one-of-a-kind.
In this mountain village, we work with the local farmers to cultivate our own natural dye plants. Growing, fermenting and dyeing the pieces in the same village is our way to develop the community in a transparent way so you know exactly who, why, and how you clothes were made.
You are the change you've been waiting for. Every moment, every word, every action, matters. Courage is contagious.
